23 diciembre Bacon TwigsLine a large jelly roll pan (baking sheet) with foil and then with parchment paper. This is very, very important.
Cut two pounds of bacon strips in half. Take each small strip and twist it several times. Press each end onto the parchment paper. Place all the strips close together in rows. You will completely fill the jelly roll pan. Take a large handful of brown sugar and sprinkle it over the bacon. (Actually, several handfuls). Bake at 400 degrees until very well browned. You have to watch it because one minute it is still raw and the next it is burnt. Do not remove too soon, you want them to get crispy. Let is sit in the pan until cool enough to touch. Move to paper plates (the cheap absorbant kind) to drain. If you try to drain them on paper towels they will stick. When drained, stack on a serving platter as if you were building a log house. It will look like a stack of twigs. These are delicious.
